Pedestrian Collision Analysis
A one week Pedestrian Collision Analysis is designed to provide a collision investigator with the knowledge and practical experience essential in investigating collision involving pedestrians. Students are introduced to all of the pedestrian equations currently utilized by the experts in the field. The class covers the origin, theory, application, the strong and the weak aspects of each of the pedestrian equations. The theory is reinforced by an all day series of crash tests involving a crash test dummy and a wide range of vehicles. The students are provided with crash test data, high resolution photographs and high definition video of the crash tests. It is preferred that the students hold a level of a certified reconstructionist.
